How do I wean my 2 year from her night time bottles?

My 2 year old daughter still takes a bottle at night. She refuses to go to sleep without it and my husband always gives in to her after a little while of her crying. Is there a way to get her to stop taking the bottle without her completely having a meltdown?

  1. Try just giving her a little less milk each time eg. take it down by half an ounce each night. eventually she should just sleep through. If that doesnt work then just give her a feed right before she goes to bed even if her last feed before that was only a couple of hours. I’ve been doing that with my baby ince birth and she has slept through the night from being 2 weeks old. She is now 5 months and sleeps 10 hrs a night. Good luck. Hope this was helpful x
