  2. We have a 12 month old little girl, currently she is nursed and we are interested in wheening her. We have found she only likes likes breast milk, and doesn’t care for store bought or milk from our local dairy. Please help with us with any suggestions you may have.

  3. I wheened my (now three) lil girl when she was 19 months. We had family come into town and she was so involved in other activities that it just worked out that way. I was pregnant then so it was much needed. I am now trying to wheen my son he is 14 months. I am very engorged and hurting quite a bit (I don’t remember this bein the case with my daughter). Anyway, I decided that the only way he will prob stop is to not be with me. It’s been 24 hours (the longest I’ve been away from him) I am told he is doing well though and that he doesn’t seem to be upset about not nursing. (untill he’s sleepy) To those of you whose child won’t take reg milk you can try adding a little biit of vanilla soy milk to it, gives it a bit sweeter taste like that of breast milk. Also, if you child won’t take a bottle (neither of my did) try a sippy cup, they feel like such big kids when you introduce it (so cute) hope this helps at all. bye bye
